DRIVERS
If you would like to become a driver for Andicars and help with the 1.5 million jobs we carry out every year you will need a Private Hire/Hackney badge. For further details contact Andicars on (023) 92 269 269 (ext 205).

The licensing system is carried out by Havant Borough Council and ensures that the public will be able to travel safely, and with confidence that a lincensed driver will be able to treat passengers in a fair and courteous way and to conduct business in a professional manner.

•	You must complete the Council application form.
•	You must complete a Criminal Records Bureau check form and pay the appropriate fee to them to enable enquiries to be made relating to any offence history.
•	You must produce your DVLA Driving Licence
•	You must nominate two persons who will support your application and act as referees.
•	You must prove that you meet the required medical standard by arranging for a D4 DVLA medical questionnaire (available on-line at www.dvla.gov.uk/forms/frms_vehicles.htm) to be completed by your doctor and submitted to the council.
